The Trammelink® Story

The first trammelink was created over 15 years ago.  It was conceived out of necessity,. My business attire would look tidy and professional at home. However after seat belts, weather, and a backpack, I was often a mess walking into the office. If I only had something to keep my outer layer open, but tethered.... After some experimentation, the first trammelink was made! 

The name Trammelink comes from two words. Trammel is a word meaning to tether or bind. And link, of course, is a word meaning to connect. When combined, you get a unique name that rolls easily off the tongue! 

After wearing them for years, and getting compliments and comments from people along the way, work on making Trammelink a business was begun in 2021. Our website came up in June 2022, and we were selling trammelinks at our first craft show in September, 2022.

It is important that for us that trammelinks have a purpose. Making our customers happy is the first key purpose. Alongside of that though, is to give back and make an even larger group happy.  Since breast cancer has affected many of our family members and friends, it was an easy decision to share the trammelink profits with breast cancer charities.
